Outdoor Furniture Testing Standard EN 581

Outdoor furniture refers to the open or semi-open outdoor space, in order to facilitate people’s health, comfortable, efficient public outdoor activities and set up a series of relative to the indoor furniture in terms of appliances, which mainly covers the urban public outdoor furniture, outdoor leisure furniture in the courtyard, outdoor furniture in commercial establishments, portable outdoor furniture and other four major categories of products.

Outdoor furniture is to determine the building outdoor (including the space outside the half-empty, also known as “gray space”) the material basis of the spatial function and performance of outdoor space form an important element.

1. Outdoor furniture classification:

Commercial (Contract use): non-private use, can be used for public occasions, such as: restaurants, swimming pools, leisure places

Domestic use: private use, such as: garden, balcony

Camping use: easy to transport, can be folded and disassembled, lightweight.
